Monza was on the F1 calendar from the very beginning and has hosted all Italian Grands Prix but one since 1950....
Ferrari have presented a special one-off livery for their home race at Monza, paying tribute to seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher. It is now 30 years since the German joined the Scuderia, and 20 years since his final victory with the team - scored at the 2006 Chinese Grand Prix. As well as claiming five of his world titles with the Maranello-based squad, Schumacher bagged five Monza wins in red (in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2006)....
On top of Hungary’s all-new floor, wakeboards and floor slots, McLaren brought to Zandvoort a new rear wing, engine cover, diffuser tweaks and new front wheel rims as further discrete performance items. “The items aren’t linked as a package,” explained McLaren’s technical director Neil Houldey of the Zandvoort parts. “They all provide aero performance as individual components and don’t need each other to perform.” This double hit of upgrades in consecutive races proved very powerful and helped Lando Norris to back-to-back Grand Prix victories, both of them from pole position....
Alpine have confirmed that reserve driver Paul Aron will participate in another Free Practice 1 outing for the squad at this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix. Aron has previously been in action during three practice sessions so far in 2026, with the first in Barcelona and Austria being with Audi as part of an agreement between the two teams. The Estonian went on to drive for Alpine in Hungary and will again get behind the wheel of the A526 when Friday’s track running kicks off in Monza, sitting in for Pierre Gasly....

Long-time Aston Martin figure Tom McCullough is set to join Red Bull Racing in 2027 as their Head of Racing, it has been announced. McCullough will make the move after a lengthy stint with Aston Martin and their previous guises, Racing Point and Force India, where he worked in various engineering roles. At the start of 2025, as part of a senior leadership restructure, he was moved away from the Aston Martin F1 project and into another area of the business that focused on “the expansion of the team’s broader range of racing categories”....
McLaren will be looking to continue their run of good form at the upcoming Italian Grand Prix, a weekend in which the team have announced some new parts for the car - including the ‘H-Wing’. After Ferrari debuted their so-called ‘flip-flop’ rotating rear wing during pre-season testing, Red Bull revealed a version of their own at Round 4 in Miami while McLaren later went on to trial a rotating design during Free Practice 1 in Hungary....

Round 14 of the 2026 season comes from the famous Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy - and F1 tyre suppliers Pirelli have confirmed the compounds that will be in play. Pirelli will provide the drivers and teams with their C3 (as the hard), C4 (as the medium) and C5 (as the soft) compounds at the Temple of Speed - the softest selection from their 2026 tyre range. Drivers will get two sets of the hard tyre (marked white), three sets of the medium tyre (marked yellow), and eight sets of the soft tyre (marked red), as well as access to the green intermediate tyre and the blue full wets, should they be required....

Red Bull have confirmed that Liam Lawson will again replace Isack Hadjar at Red Bull for the Italian Grand Prix weekend as the Frenchman continues his recovery from a wrist injury. Lawson stepped in at the Milton Keynes-based outfit last time out in Zandvoort, where he took home points for the squad in P7 on race day. Now the New Zealander will get a second opportunity with the team as Hadjar is set to sit out another round while his rehabilitation continues....
