Oscar Piastri has admitted that he doesn’t “have any answers” at the moment after being surprised by his lack of pace in the Dutch Grand Prix, a race he labelled as “disappointing” following his P6 finish. The event had initially started well for Piastri, who pulled off an impressive overtake on Mercedes' George Russell at the restart having switched to the hard tyres during the stoppage. However, a slow pit stop appeared to undo the Australian’s race and from there he slipped backwards, eventually being overtaken by both Ferraris before crossing the line in a lonely sixth place....

Nico Hulkenberg admits that he was “a passenger” in his near-miss with Audi team mate Gabriel Bortoleto following the Brazilian’s high-speed spin in the Dutch Grand Prix. Hulkenberg finished best-of-the-rest behind the leading teams in last Sunday’s 72-lap race at the Zandvoort Circuit after finishing eighth, ensuring the German secured back-to-back points finishes. The result came after a dramatic opening lap incident, with Max Verstappen losing control of his Red Bull through the final, high-speed banked turn on a damp track before hitting the wall....

Laurent Mekies has conceded that the Dutch Grand Prix was a “very difficult weekend” for Red Bull, with Max Verstappen suffering an early crash out of Sunday’s race while Liam Lawson took home a P7 finish. After Verstappen and Lawson lined up in seventh and eighth on the grid respectively, the pair briefly enjoyed some wheel-to-wheel battling when the event got underway - but Verstappen’s final home race at Zandvoort came to an end within a couple of laps when he lost the rear of his car and hit the wall coming out of Turn 14....

Charles Leclerc was only 1.3s away from the podium in Zandvoort, but finished fifth in the final Dutch Grand Prix despite Ferrari demonstrating plenty of race pace on Sunday. McLaren Norris followed his Hungary victory with success at Zandvoort, to reignite his Championship charge. Despite losing out to Antonelli at the second standing start, Norris kept close to the Italian and really closed him down in the second stints. That was when he pulled off a brilliant move to take the race lead and, from there, never looked in danger of being passed. Despite not stopping under the late VSC and thus being on older tyres than his rival, Norris was able to pull away to win by over 11 seconds....

Lando Norris was left feeling “over the moon” after he passed Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton with a pair of spectacular overtakes to win the Dutch Grand Prix, marking his second victory of the season. Starting from pole position, the McLaren driver’s clean opening lap was halted following a scary crash for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, which resulted in a red flag and eventual restart for the remaining competitors. It was on this second attempt that Norris lost the lead to Antonelli, forcing him to launch an attack that lasted for the majority of the race....

Kimi Antonelli was left disappointed at ending the Dutch Grand Prix in second place but has also taken the positives from a weekend where he had struggled for confidence in the car, with the Italian feeling that his two strong starts “saved” his race. After overtaking Mercedes team mate George Russell for P2 when the event got underway, Antonelli went one better during the subsequent restart - with the race red-flagged following a heavy crash for Max Verstappen - and snatched the lead from Lando Norris....

George Russell has accepted that Mercedes' call for him to pull aside and allow team mate Kimi Antonelli through was “the right decision”, even though it left him at the mercy of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton in the closing stages of the Dutch Grand Prix. It was a tricky race day for the Silver Arrows as neither driver seemed to be comfortable with their cars, which was especially true for Russell, who lost a position to Antonelli on the opening lap before dropping behind Oscar Piastri at the restart....

Lewis Hamilton has explained the emotions behind his radio messages during the middle phase of the Dutch Grand Prix, with the seven-time World Champion voicing his frustration after spending several laps stuck behind the sister Ferrari of Charles Leclerc.
