The 2026 Formula 1 season continues this weekend with the Italian Grand Prix, with Monza set to host Round 13 - and here are the global start times for Sunday’s race. A strong weekend for McLaren’s Lando Norris in the Netherlands indicated that the fight at the top is heating up, with the reigning World Champion clinching back-to-back victories for the first time in 2026. He’s still got a significant deficit to championship leader Kimi Antonelli, who holds a 59-point lead over both his team mate George Russell and Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton....

Antonelli set for a home race penalty The second half of the season is well and truly underway and the final two European rounds take place over a double-header that kicks off in Italy. With McLaren resurgent but plenty for the home fans to get excited about, there are sure to be a number of talking points when the paddock arrives in Monza. Given the support Ferrari always receive at Monza, the Italian fans could find themselves slightly torn this weekend, as Kimi Antonelli arrives at his home race as the championship leader....

James Vowles has admitted that he was concerned by the possibility of Williams losing both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon amid the team’s struggles this season, and says the confirmation both drivers will be staying on for next year has seen a “weight lifted” off the factory. The 2025 campaign saw the Grove-based outfit climb from their previous ninth in the championship to an impressive fifth, a run of form that included two podium finishes for Sainz....

Earlier this week, Aston Martin announced a partnership with British record label and house music specialists Defected. The pairing of motorsport and music is nothing new, but with a huge growth of fans in both F1 and house, the collaboration feels like it’s coming at just the right time. House music as a genre was born in Chicago at the start of the ’80s and has only grown in popularity, becoming mainstream with tracks frequently populating the global charts....

Lando Norris is beaming. This isn’t uncommon as it’s pretty much his baseline, but the Briton’s smile and chirpiness is noticeably even brighter when we meet on the uber-cool boulevard of the McLaren Technology Centre for a chat. This is because Norris is here to talk about a huge new deal that will keep him at McLaren until at least the end of 2030. Come the end of that term, he’ll have been with the team for 12 years, equaling the record stint countryman Lewis Hamilton had with Mercedes....

Lando Norris has committed his future to McLaren after signing a new deal that will extend his stay at the British team until at least the end of 2030, with a multi-year option to commit beyond that date. The Briton joined McLaren in 2017 as a test and development driver before earning promotion to the grid as a race driver for 2019. The 26-year-old has since gone on to claim 13 Grand Prix victories, 18 pole positions and 48 podiums - as well as his maiden World Championship in 2025....

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Xavi and Andres Iniesta, Lando Norris and McLaren - there are just some sporting partnerships that are meant to be. On Saturday, it was announced that the latter will be staying together for the foreseeable future with Norris signing a fresh deal that’ll keep him at McLaren until at least the end of 2030. James Vowles believes that Carlos Sainz’s “unique” approach to racing has made him a valuable asset at Williams, with the team principal identifying his enduring competitive spirit as one of his strengths. The Spaniard took Williams back to the podium last season, but the team suffered a significant downturn in 2026, transforming from ‘best of the rest’ to scrapping towards the back of the field. While Sainz has been vocal about their issues, which included delayed development and an overweight car, he nevertheless committed to Williams with a multi-year deal to demonstrate his confidence in the team’s potential....

Last weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix had an air of finality to it, as the world of Formula 1 arrived knowing that, at least for the foreseeable future, Grand Prix cars will not return to the seaside circuit. That said, triumphant returns were still the story of the weekend, in the shape of Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda. Both drivers were being given an opportunity to return to their previous squads for one last - for now - hurrah....

Formula 2 championship leader and Red Bull junior Nikola Tsolov has taken part in his first F1 test for Racing Bulls at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari - better known to many as Imola - in Italy. Tsolov completed 690km as part of a Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) programme, a milestone moment for the 19-year-old as he continues his development with the Red Bull Junior Programme. “First TPC day in a Formula 1 car done, and I’m super happy with how today went,” Tsolov said after the experience....
